Jaime fox embarrassed rihanna

Actor Jamie Foxx reportedly upset Rihanna by embarrassing her in front of revelers at a Las Vegas nightclub.
The actor was cracking jokes for fellow partygoers at Sin City's Tao hotspot when he spotted the R&B star and repeatedly asked her to join him on stage and take the mic.

She refused, and Foxx prompted the DJ to blast out her hit "Umbrella" over the speakers, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

Foxx saw the singer preparing to depart and ordered her to stay --- reportedly leaving her "fuming."

A source tells Page Six, "Jamie took over the microphone and started doing a show. Halfway through, he asked Rihanna to join him onstage. Rihanna declined, but Foxx continued to badger her."

When the DJ began to play "Umbrella," the source adds: "That was the last straw. She got up to leave, and Jamie told the DJ to stop the record. (He shouted) 'You can't go while your song is playing. Relax.'

"Rihanna stayed and pretended to enjoy herself, but it was so obvious she was fuming. As soon as the song was over, she got the hell out of there."

morgan freeman to mary his step-grandaughter

n a blockbuster World Exclusive The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Morgan Freeman plans to marry his step-granddaughter, family sources reveal.

In our June 29 issue, we revealed that sources close to the 72-year-old actor claim that he had carried on a shocking, nearly decade-long affair with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter, E'Dena Hines. She is the granddaughter of Morgan's first wife - whom he and his estranged second wife Myrna raised since she was a young child.

The long-secret relationship led to the breakup of Morgan's marriage, say sources close to Freeman and his wife.

Now, The ENQUIRER has learned that Morgan and E'Dena are planning to wed after Morgan's contentious divorce battle is over!

"Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her," a family insider told The ENQUIRER.

"Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E'Dena's goal," revealed another family source.

Wife Myrna, 68, has admitted that she and Morgan have not shared a bed since 2001, and that they had an open marriage - with both Morgan and Myrna having other partners. For years, Morgan carried on an affair with former schoolteacher Mary Joyce Hays at the same time he was romancing E'Dena.

Years later, when Myrna realized they were still intimate, she became so enraged that she threatened to sue E'Dena as "correspondent, as an adulterer, in my marriage".'

fif predicts taking top spot in next years forbes list

After placing fourth on Forbes magazine’s Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, G-Unit leader 50 Cent predicts a return to number one spot next year.

In an interview with XXLMag.com, the Queens rapper says he’s not sweating the drop from the top slot this go-round.

“I’m on deck,” Fif told XXL. “I’m loaded. Call me ‘four’ this year, and then you call me ‘one’ next year, because I’m really preparing for my cycle.”

While 50 attributes his place on the list to his fourth solo album, Before I Self Destruct, getting pushed back, the rapper shrugs off his ranking.

“They’re fine,” he says of Jay-Z, Diddy, and Kanye West, who held the top three spots, respectively. “What kind of person would be upset at what position they fall when they’re on the Forbes list. That person would be a complete idiot.

“Ask me to show you a person who’s happy, and I’ll show you someone who’s content,” 50 continues. “And if you ask me to show you a guy who’s piss-poor with really nice things around him, I’ll show you the guy that’s on that list that’s worried about being number one. And [the person] won’t stay there, trust me.”

50 Cent raked in an estimated $150 million between June 2007 and June 2008, to top the 2008 Forbes charts, besting Jay-Z’s $82 million earnings. This year, Jay stacked $35 million, $15 million more than Fif’.

Before I Self Destruct is slated for a late 2009 release

slaughter house preps for war

With their debut album in the works it looks like the Hip Hop supergroup Slaughterhouse may also have to deal with some rivals on and off wax. Weeks after Joe Budden first made his infamous statement about being better than Method Man, Wu Tang member Inspectah Deck has released a diss track titled "House Nigga".

Despite Deck's track Budden did not reply on wax as he usually does, instead discussing the beef on his blog, saying;

When I first heard the Inspectah Deck s**t I thought it was weak but I said, 'Aight I'm going to tear him up for fun. I just wish somebody else would've responded, not him... Me and Raekwon talked it out, me and Busta Rhymes already spoke. Now here you come.”

Budden didnt confirm that weather he would make a response, but did have a few choice comments about about Deck;

"While Inspectah Deck may be considered a legend for the one great verse he had in his 30 year career, it's 2009. He should be dissing RZA for not paying him. When Saigon dissed me, my next dis track was the fact that I got paid from his dis track. I don't think people really use their heads. He rapped on 'Pump It Up.' Me and Just [Blaze] got paid for it."

While Budden is dealing with a diss track from Deck, Nickle Nine is threatening to take off J-hood's head if he continues to throw threats towards he and his rap group.

The beef started when Hood began throwing personal jabs at the members of Slaughterhouse on tracks, and even threatening them in low budget street DVD's. Royce dismissed the idea of responding in a track, but did offer a warning to the rapper.

“We’re not going to respond to him because he’s a bum, just like Ransom. He might want to shut his fucking mouth. Detroit niggas don’t play that shit. I’m all for the battle rapping, but when you get to talking about what you’re going to do… I don’t want to fucking hear that, I move around New York how I feel. That nigga can’t step a fucking pinky toe in Detroit.”

According to Hood, the beef originally started when Royce referenced his name in a verse, saying; "I’m the one, really though/you just a J-Hood gun video.”

r&b singer joe a wife beater?

Just when you think you know an artist, there’s always something that comes up to prove how much you really don’t. Case in point: former 3LW/Cheetah Girls member Kiely Williams, who has decided to weigh in on the hot topic of domestic abuse.

In a recent interview with EURWeb, the singer confessed to seeing her mother become an abuse victim at the hands of someone who many wouldn’t peg as a member of the Chris Brown beatdown society. The guilty party, according to Williams, is none other than R&B hitmaker Joe as she recalled how bad the crooner treated her mother.

“I have had my own personal experience with domestic abuse with my mother having been in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship with the R&B singer JOE for several years,” she shared. “I saw the toll it took on her and how difficult her recovery was. I wish Rihanna the best and hope that she gets through what I know is a terrible ordeal.”

As if the whole Chris Brown situation isn’t enough, now we got this. Makes you think. Who will be the next singer to have his domestic abuse situation revealed?

Jacob the jeweler forfeits $2 million in laundered funds

Jacob Arabov has forfeited $2 million dollars in illegal proceeds, as a part of his plea agreement conviction for laundering the drug profits of a nationwide drug conspiracy network.

Arabov, known affectionately to Hip-Hop stars as “Jacob the Jeweler,” was sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison for lying to federal authorities about the ownership of $5 million worth of jewelry seized from Terry Flenory, co-head of the notorious Black Mafia Family that operated throughout the United States from 1990-2005.

Under law, drug forfeiture money appropriated by authorities can only be disbursed and used by law enforcement agencies.

Of the $2 million seized, $1.6 million was distributed to seven law enforcement agencies in and around Detroit, the Black Mafia Family’s original base of operations.

The Detroit, Groose Ile Township, Birmingham, and Livonia police departments received $267, 200, with the same amount going to the Livingston County Sheriff’s office.

The River Rouge Police Department received $198,800, while the Waterford Police Department retained $67,200.

The remaining $400,000 was kept by the federal government.

The Black Mafia Family was founded by the Flenory brothers Demetrius (“Meech”) and Terry (“Southwest P”) in the early 90s.

Their vast criminal empire drew extensive police attention when the group began publicly promoting themselves in Hip-Hop circles throughout Atlanta (Young Jeezy, Bleu DaVinci): throwing lavish parties, creating DVDs, and even erecting a prominent Billboard in the city.

In 2005, a series of drug raids and turns of key members into informants effectively the dismantled the drug trafficking organization.

Last year, both Flenory brothers were sentenced to 30 years in prison under CCE (Continuing Criminal Enterprise Law) classification.

Jay-z tops forbes hip hop cash kings list

Forbes dropped their annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list of rap’s biggest earners today.

The past year has been even crueler to rap than it's been to Wall Street. Over the past 12 months, hip-hop's top 20 earners banked $300 million, down 40% from a year ago. The culprit: declining record sales and the disappearance of the mega-deals that once enriched hip-hop stars and corporate executives alike. Still, rising stars like Akon and T-Pain continue to brighten the hip-hop firmament, finding ever more creative ways to make money.

How Forbes Get the Numbers

The Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list includes male recording artists whose work is primarily classified as hip-hop or rap. Earnings estimates, which include income from record sales, digital downloads, touring, films, TV shows, endorsements, books and other entertainment ventures, are calculated between June 2008 and June 2009. Management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted.

In order to determine otheir list, Forbes interviewed numerous sources within the music industry--including lawyers, media buyers and many of the artists themselves. We also conducted research via Billboard, Pollstar, Nielsen SoundScan and the Recording Industry Association of America, among others.

The Complete List:
1. Jay-Z - 35 Million
2. Diddy - 30 Million
3. Kanye West - 25 Million
4. 50 Cent - 20 Million
5. Akon - 20 Million
6. Lil Wayne - 18 Million
7. Timbaland - 17 Million
8. Pharrell - 16 Million
9. T-Pain - 15 Million
10. Eminem - 14 Million

joe budden says he will "COOK" inspectah deck

By Houston Williams
A full-fledged lyrical feud has broken out between Inspectah Deck of the Wu Tang Clan and Joe Budden, who now represents for Slaughterhouse.

While Budden has yet to respond in song, Deck has released a song called “House N***a,” where he proclaims “the war is on.”

The lyrical beef is a result of Joe Budden expressing that he was a greater emcee than Method Man in a tourney of the best rappers alive by now-defunct Vibe magazine.

"When I first heard the Inspectah Deck s**t I thought it was weak but I said, 'Aight I'm going to tear him up for fun," Budden said on BlogTV, a site he uses for live video blogging. "I just wish somebody else would've responded, not him... Me and Raekwon talked it out, me and Busta Rhymes already spoke. Now here you come...”

Budden didn’t say that he would definitely respond, but he did sent some barbed words for Deck.

“While Inspectah Deck may be considered a legend for the one great verse he had in his 30 year career, it's 2009...We'll see how it all plays out. We gotta see how it goes down when I get into the studio,” Budden continued. “He should be dissing RZA for not paying him. When Saigon dissed me, my next dis track was the fact that I got paid from his dis track. I don't think people really use their heads. He rapped on 'Pump It Up.' Me and Just [Blaze] got paid for it."

On the song, Deck admits to defending Method Man, who refused to entertain a battle with Budden.

On his blog, Budden suggested that he may use the feud to push his Slaughterhouse album with Crooked I, Royce Da 5’ 9” and Joell Ortiz.

“Honestly, dude ain't worth responding to... But I DO have an album coming out.. Mite be buzzworthy to cook dude.. We'll see,” Budden wrote.

NBA Rookie Brandon Jennings Gets Backlash From League Due To Conversation Videotaped By Joe Buddens

MILWAUKEE -- First-round draft pick Brandon Jennings has yet to break a sweat in practice for the Milwaukee Bucks, and he's already doing a little backpedaling on defense.
Speaking after the Bucks' pre-summer league practice Monday, Jennings expressed regret for drawing unwanted attention when his profanity-laced and provocative telephone conversation with a rapper was videotaped and posted on YouTube last week.

"I'm pretty glad that it happened now, something that I can learn from," said Jennings, the No. 10 overall pick. "Now I know you can't trust everybody, everybody's not your friend. It was a joke. We were joking and everything. But for my part, I shouldn't be talking about team business that I have no idea about."

In the video, which has since been removed from the site, rapper Joe Budden is shown talking to Jennings on a speakerphone. According to a partial transcript posted on sportingnews.com, Jennings insisted that guard Ramon Sessions would not return to the team, boasted that he will beat out Luke Ridnour to become the starting point guard and made a profane comment about the New York Knicks for not drafting him.

Jennings, who did not practice Monday while he awaits final clearance from international basketball governing body FIBA, said he did not know the conversation was being recorded. But he acknowledged that he was wrong and pledged to learn a lesson from the incident.

"I was wrong for the things I said," said Jennings, who expects to be able to practice Wednesday. "It was jokingly, we were playing around, laughing. But at the same time, I have to be careful and I'm going to learn from that."

And he apparently was misinformed about Sessions, a restricted free agent who received a qualifying offer from the team -- giving the Bucks the right to match any offer from another team.

"I shouldn't be talking about team business," Jennings said. "But if he comes back, that's good. We need all the help we can get to be a good team."

So, is Jennings still buddies with Budden?

"We're OK," Jennings said. "We did talk about it, my agent, we all talked about it. Everybody's pretty upset about the situation. Because the last thing I was thinking about was I'm getting recorded on YouTube having a conversation with a friend. But like I said, I'll learn from it, and now I know I can't really trust everybody."

The incident raised questions about the maturity of Jennings, who decided to play professionally in Italy instead of going to college and made waves in the run-up to the draft by criticizing another guard prospect, Spain's Ricky Rubio.

Bucks assistant coach Kelvin Sampson said Jennings doesn't lack confidence, and that's not a bad thing.

"I say this with all due respect: That kid has a very high opinion of himself," said Sampson, who ran Monday's practice for head coach Scott Skiles. "He think he's pretty good, and we're not going to tell him any different. He's got a lot of confidence, and I like that."

Sampson already is emphasizing leadership to Jennings, and considers the YouTube incident a lesson about not calling undue attention to yourself.

"It's just an opportunity for him to learn a life lesson," Sampson said. "I don't think you overreact to it, but you make him understand that the name on the front of his jersey is a little more important than the name on the back of it. The society that these guys have come up in, that's kind of been what they do. But now, I think it goes back to being a point guard. A point guard, he doesn't do those type of things."

His brief YouTube stardom fading, Jennings now is looking forward to summer league play in Las Vegas.

"I just can't wait until Vegas, man," Jennings said. "I feel I have a lot to prove to a lot of people. A lot of people are doubting me, saying I didn't have a good year in Europe so a lot of people think I'm really not that good. This summer, I'm really going to take serious."

lebron gets dunked on by college player

Yahoo reports:

It was assumed he was called "King James" because he reigns on the basketball court. But maybe LeBron James earned that nickname due to his tyrannical ways (in dealing with embarrassment).

On Monday, Jordan Crawford, a sophomore at Xavier (by way of Indiana), reportedly dunked on LeBron during a pick-up game at the LeBron James Skills Academy. Garry Parrish of CBSSports.com wrote that one high school player said, "it was bad". (We can only assume he meant "bad" in the Michael Jackson sort of way.)

LeBron must have agreed, because he had Nike officials confiscate the two videos that were taken of the dunk. (Parrish blames Nike, but reading between the lines it seems like the censorship was orchestrated by LeBron himself.)

Ryan Miller, a freelance photographer who was working at the camp that day, told CBSSports.com:

"LeBron called [Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt] over and told him something," Miller said. "That's how I knew his name was Lynn. LeBron said, 'Hey, Lynn. Come here.'"

A few minutes later, Miller's tape was confiscated.

Connecting the dots, it seems clear that LeBron didn't want video leaking out of him getting dunked on by a college sophomore, so he told a Nike official to get the tape. It was an understandable reflex move (gotta protect the image), but it also unnecessarily makes a mountain out of a molehill.

The Crawford dunk would have been a temporary embarrassment for LeBron. Let's say the video was put on YouTube. It blows up for a bit, dominates blogs for 36 hours, everyone has a good chuckle and then it's forgotten about.

But by censoring the tape, LeBron turns the dunk into a legend. On video, it's just a dunk. Without video, the jam can reach mythic proportions. Because nobody can see it, the story of the dunk will grow in stature with each telling. Today, it was a simple two-handed slam. In a few days, it will be a 360-degree windmill. By the time Crawford makes his Xavier debut in October, he will have jumped off LeBron's shoulders, flipped in the air, slammed the ball home with his left pinkie and then handed LeBron $3.99 for his dry cleaning.

Without the video, we'll never know. Although, given his past history, I think it's safe to say that LeBron probably walked off the court without shaking Crawford's hand.

martin lawrence working on three television projects

If Chris Rock can bring his childhood to the small screen, so can Martin Lawrence – only with a twist.

Media sources report that the actor/comedian is bringing his childhood experiences to viewers via a new animated TV comedy. Lawrence is working with screenwriter Rodney Barnes, who will serve as the writer for the show. The half-hour series will be based on the entertainer’s experiences growing up in the Washington, D.C.-Maryland area as it focuses on the misadventures of 13-year-old Martin as he comes of age.

The animated show is one of three television projects Lawrence is developing with his production company Runteldat. The second project will be an interracial family show for Starz that will be based on the comedy of Gary Owen, the only white man to host BET’s Comic View. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is inspired by Owen’s real-life experience as it revolves around a white guy from a trailer park who marries a well-to-do black woman. The project is part of a Martin’s efforts to give up-and-coming stand-ups an opportunity to take the same journey he took – from stand-up to TV comedy series to movies, said Runteldat director of development Darice Rollins, who added that Owen may star in the show.

As for the third project, that will be a family comedy set at a funeral home. Nothing more to report on that.

50 speaks about droppin 2 mixtapes in 2 weeks & young buck

By Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur

Two mixtapes, two weeks.

The 50 Cent presently before the music industry closely resembles another rising rapper of the same name that had yet to get rich while trying before dying. From an industry point of view, there are those that doubt whether 50 Cent the multimillion-dollar man can reclaim the momentum he once had. Little do they know deep within the recesses of money and power lies that same antagonistic, bar none individual that claimed the streets and those boardrooms. 50 Cent has released War Angel for the hardcore Hip-Hop fans and Forever King, a mixtape that channels the 90’s. Love it or hate it, 50 is back and, unlike the title of his debut, just being rich just isn’t enough.

This is just the first part.

AllHipHop.com: First, can you speak on the War Angel LP and what it represents?

50 Cent: To me, the War Angel LP represents what I fell in love with in Hip-Hop. It isn’t there any more, it doesn’t exist anymore. A lot of the actual artists, I felt like…my assessment of the artist was the artists was trying to reach the audience by being like the audience instead of being themselves and bringing the audience to them. Of course selling records and making a living for themselves is a priority from the perspective of an artist that comes from a “starving artists’ space.” They watch what works and as soon as they see what works, they all do the same thing instead of sticking to their [own] style and waiting for that moment for their music to impact. And, that’s when you really feel that impact, because you stand your ground and write from a perspective, you know, that’s in your heart. The War Angel record, it was the complete CD for my core. The person that hears track one, loves all 12 of those tracks. There’s no question about it. The response I’ve been getting from it makes me feel like I made the right decision with that record.

AllHipHop.com: You sound hungry.

50 Cent: And this one, I just did [Before I Self Destruct] all over again and [now] this is Forever King, [his newest mixtape].

AllHipHop.com: Is there a new mentality that you have now? In particular with War Angel, you sound hungrier than normal.

50 Cent: Its more like the original 50 Cent music and it feels like just went I get a chance to relax and “do me,” that comes out. That comes out easy. That’s my first nature. That’s the actual, the character, what I have to be to get by in the environment I grew up in. to make that is not as difficult for me reaching… The records they were complaining about were the commercial records. Those [records] are work for me – to make the right ones. Obviously, over the last six years, I’ve been able to manage making the right records that work at radio and everywhere else commercially while you have that content that your core wants.

AllHipHop.com: How difficult is it to balance that though? Obviously, when you do a commercial record that is a smash it does take away from your base. Your base becomes unhappy.

50 Cent: Look what you just said. When you make a smash, it takes away from your base.

AllHipHop.com: The commercial songs…

50 Cent: What I’m saying to you is, the guy [rapper] that has no aggression in his music, because he doesn’t come from the environment and they have not expectations of him, can just make that pop record that you think is a smash and [sells] however many millions, radio plays, listeners hearing it and move copies based on that. Meanwhile, they want the aggressive content from me, because there is nobody else that can offer it from a space that they actually believe these people.

AllHipHop.com: I want to pick up on something you said on War Angel. You said, “I think these n***as is f***ots.” You were just talking, but you went into the skinny
jeans…

"Why would they go ahead and do a deal a head of time when they would be a part of the package and negotiation for me." - 50 Cent

50 Cent: What I seen growing up, in all honesty, I think a lot of the Hip-Hop artists were emulating the drug dealer. There was a time, in me growing up, that the drug dealers had more money than artists. So, when the rope chains came those were the things that I seen guys who hustled had long before rappers had it. So I understood their motivation and [where] the Kangol and the Adidas and everything else came from.

But, when you see the guys when the skinny jeans, that was the stuff that was in the Village [New York’s Greenwich Village], in a specific area. So don’t tell me an artist – a [single] artist – influenced the whole community of that many people? Then it disappoints me that so many of our people are followers in that way.

AllHipHop.com: So you are saying its reversed now.

50 Cent: The artists that’s wearing these skinny jeans, these tight shirts and Mohawks, if they decide to design the clothing or develop a clothing company....[pauses] What is it considered? Urban?

AllHipHop.com: Yeah…

50 Cent: Its not urban. It might be an American owner, but it’s not urban. Everything that they got on is something that you were see from a rock artist. The White-oriented younger teens had that on for a long time. For me, skinny jeans was for you not to catch your pants on a skateboard. If you not riding skateboards, why you wearing it.

AllHipHop.com Lets talk about G-Unit a bit. Can you speak on the status of G-Unit a little bit?

50 Cent: Everybody’s intact, as far as Yay [Yayo] and Banks, they are both recording new records. When their music is 100% dead right, you’ll probably be hearing another G-Unit album following the release of this actual project from me. And then, their solo albums.

AllHipHop.com: Are they looking for new recording homes?

50 Cent: Well, not in a hurry…to do that. [Pauses] Because its almost time for me to re-negotiate.

AllHipHop.com: Yeah, I know…this is your last one [with Interscope].

50 Cent: Hey. Why would they go ahead and do a deal a head of time when they would be a part of the package and negotiation for me.

AllHipHop.com: Alright, OK.

50 Cent: If they were rippin’ and runnin’, they would have gotten deals already. Yayo did 800,000 on his last project and sold over 3 million records on the project before his last one.

AllHipHop.com: Banks made a comment about growing up or spreading his wings or something like that…

50 Cent: And all those things are valid. Like, he’s not a little boy. Banks is the baby. He doesn’t look that, because his facial hair came in faster, but he’s the youngest one. So, I spend time talking to him. I do mental maintenance on him, because he’s younger, to make sure he don’t just spin out of control. It’s a lot. They all earned over $8.5 million dollars apiece and that was including Young Buck. If you don’t tell them what to do on some level then they are going to make assumption and do things.

AllHipHop.com: So he’s not unhappy in anyway, because he was supposed to be the next big thing.

50 Cent: I think from Banks’ perspective, he has the ability to say what he feels and it not be taken personal at all. I treat them all like they were my brother. It was a little more intense disrespect from Buck when that happened, because he was treated that way [as a brother]. [This was] to the point where he made mistakes and I fixed his mistakes. Who pays your taxes for you? If you don’t figure it out after the first time you don’t pay your taxes, but twice? It’s interesting. This is the guy that does something wrong, apologizes and does something wrong. This why ic an say, “Oh, you did it to me and you’re going to go do it again.” So, next time I’m going to press record.

AllHipHop.com: Do you feel any kind of way about Buck at this point? A Lot of people feel he was one of the most talented people in the group.

50 Cent: They just feel he wasn’t my homeboy. They feel like he didn’t grow up with 50. Both Banks and Yayo grew up one block away. He was from a neighborhood where nobody could confirm what he was saying. He was from Tennessee.

faith and lil kim get into it at white party

Lil Kim and Faith had a face-to-face encounter towards the close of Sean "Diddy" Combs' coveted White Party in California, sources have reported.

Faith and Kim, whom both shared a relationship with The Notorious B.I.G., crossed paths at the White Party, which was held in Los Angeles instead of The Hampton's in New York.

Sources with AllHipHop.com said that Lil Kim took issue with her representation in Notorious, the biopic in which Faith was attached to.

Faith was in attendance with her husband and Lil Kim was with producer Choke No Joke and to some, this augmented the tension.

"It was really heated," one source said. "It was about to pop off...there was crazy screaming."

According to sources, Faith was saying, "I love you" to Lil Kim and Kim responded with "God bless you."

However, later at the event, Kim asked Faith, "How would you say you love me when you trashed me in your book?"

Under anonymity, a source told AllHipHop.com "We know that [Faith saying 'I love you'] is bulls**t. It wasn't even about the movie. It hurt Kim that she was being fake."

Actor Dennis Da Menace, who played D-Roc in "Notorious" and Devante Swing of Jodeci fame were able to prevent a potentially violent exchange between Faith's husband, Todd Russaw, and Choke No Joke.

"At first it was cool, but then Dennis had to peace it out," another source said.

Russaw reportedly attempted to take pictures as Kim and Faith spoke peacefully, to which Choke took exception.

Choke expressed publicly that it was inappropriate to take pictures and charged that Russaw was intoxicated. Russaw was not available for comment on the allegation.

Of the matter, Choke would only say, "Yes, I was there, but I don't have nothing to do with it. Please leave me out of it."

Sean "Diddy" Combs was not at the location at the time of the incident.

Despite the drama, Diddy managed to raise awareness for a charity, Malaria No More and his guests enjoyed their time, reports say.

Guests included Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Khloe Kardashian, Busta Rhymes, Tyrese, Shanna Moakler, Lindsay Lohan, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and Jonah Hill.

Even Chris Brown attended and performed his rendition of "Thriller."

martin bashir admits he lied

In the outtakes, as in the main doc, Bashir is, for lack of a better word, creepy. He baits Jackson, praising his strangest qualities during breaks in the filming. Jackson is flattered and pleased, but when filming resumes, Bashir then attacks the singer for the traits he only seconds earlier complimented.

Watch " Living with Michael Jackson - Take two " The Footage You Were Never Meant to See" (also referred to as "the rebuttal video"). The footage that they show in this documentary was filmed by Hamid Moslehi privately. This was presented by Maury Povich, and contains material which Bashir omitted. It also features new interviews with people close to Jackson, such as his former wife Debbie Rowe. In this interview, she claimed it was on her request that the children wore masks in public. She also pointed out that the concept of "sharing a bed" can be misunderstood: for example, she herself likes watching TV in bed; when she has a visitor, often both watch TV together in bed. It also contains interviews with Bashir giving much different opinions than what he gave in past interviews as well as in the voice-overs. He is shown praising Jackson as a father as well saying that he thinks it's wonderful that he allows children to come to Neverland.- wiki"

50 cent on rappers being exposed

XXL reports:

The lack of hardcore hip-hop has seemingly coincided with rappers being exposed in the last two years.

Though not a rapper per se, Akon’s street credibility took a hit when thesmokinggun.com reported that the hookman’s rap sheet was fabricated back in April 2008. Kon had reportedly only spent a few months in prison for stealing one BMW rather than serve a 4 1/2 years term for being the ring leader of a car theft ring. Meanwhile, three months later, Plies, hip-hop’s self-proclaimed “goon” came under fire for allegedly being a college kid who lied about his criminal past. Last but not least, Rick Ross was outted for being a correctional officer the same month. Presently on a campaign to bring hardcore hip-hop back, 50 Cent weigh in on the correlation between rappers’s questionable street creds and the lack of interest in gangsta rap.

With Plies, if you say he’s a college kid, so what?” the Queens rapper told XXLMag.com. “I wish I was a college kid. I wish I didn’t grow up under the circumstances I had to grow up under. I would have liked to just go to college and study business.”

“I see him rap about the girls a lot, so that’s true,” he continued. “From my perspective, Plies, his strong hit records are about females…and ‘Bust It Baby’ and that type of material. To me that’s authentic. He gon get the girls. You see him, decked out, he’s right, girls like him. That’s official.”

As expected, Fif had a different take on the Rick Ross controversy. “What was awkward was being part of law enforcement and completely writing drug dealer material and the biggest drug dealer in the world material,” Fif explained. “That was a little bit fictional. I mean hip-hop in general…I don’t think anybody is actively out, anybody with good sense ain’t actively out doing exactly what they said on the record or they won’t actually last cause you’ll get attention from law enforcement based on what you saying.”

“Can you imagine what it’s like…when you convince the general public that you’re that person, you’re also convincing law enforcement,” Fif added. “This is why you don’t see me out and about as often as you see these other guys at frivolous events, just wherever. I’m not with it.”

chris brown and amber rose

There is a rumor going around saying that Chris Brown and Amber Rose got it in at the White Party:

Sources are saying that they were all over each other the whole night. Amber was consumed with him and wouldn’t let him out of her sight. They eventually were seen on the dance floor kissing, then shortly after that, they were spotted on the patio bumping and grinding. No one knows what happened after that because they vanished. People kept saying “Kanye’s” loud enough for her to hear, but Amber paid it no mind and was all in Chris’ jock strap.

Now don't ask me where I got this from, lets just say I heard it from a little birdie. Apparently the reason it has been taking so long for Blueprint 3 to come out is because Mr. Carter and Mr. West are at odds.

Here's how the story goes, according to a source who will not be named in here, Blueprint 3 was pretty much finished when Kanye suggested to Hov that the album should be in all autotone- - he obviously declined this idea as many fans would hope that he would.

But when he went to the studio to listen to the finished product, he discovered that the tracks he did with Kanye had his voice in Auto Tone.

Clearly Hov was upset, and when he confronted Kanye about this Kanye refused to take the AutoTune off, saying that since it was his beats and his artistic feelings there was no way he would take it off, and that if Hov wanted those tracks he would have take them as Kanye made them.

Hov defiantly declined took those tracks off of his album, got with Just Blaze and is now working on Kingdom Come II.

According to my source Kanye and Hov have not spoken since then, and instead of a Blueprint 3 fans can expect a part 2 to Kingdom Come.

Only time will tell if this is truth or just plain fable.

Jay-z takes shots at dame dash, jim jones, and jaz-o

In recent years, New York rapper Jay-Z isn't known to dive head first into the controversy that surrounds him.

From former partners Dame Dash and Jaz-O taking shots at him to Jim Jones and other Dipset members throwing jabs his way, the Marcy Projects MC has quietly dismissed them all.

However, in what's believed to be the intro to his forthcoming lp, Blue Print 3, Jay fires back at most of his foes.

I ain't talking about profit, I'm talking about pain/

I'm talking about despair, I'm talking about shame/

I ain't talking about gossip, I ain't talking about Game/

I ain't talking about Jimmy, I ain't talking bout Dame/

In just a couple of bars, Jay even addressed Jaz-O, who has been involved in a one-sided beef with the Hip Hop mogul for some time now.

Tryna rewrite history, lets talk about facts/

Dame made millions, even Jaz made some scraps/

He coulda made more but he ain't sign his contracts/

And for the street guys, we was dealing crack/

That's how the game goes, I don't owe nobody Jack/

Father em, want me to sit them on my lap/

But I don't have a beard, Santa Clause ain't black/

You can listen to a live recording of the intro here.

Jay-Z's Blue Print 3 will be hitting stores on September 11th, 2009.

Jr. Smith to spend summer in jail

While most NBA players will be working on their game during the offseason, Denver Nuggets guard will be trading his Nuggets jersey for a prison jumpsuit.

Smith was sentenced to 90 days in jail for causing an auto accident that killed his friend in June 2007. If Smith performs 500 hours of community service, the judge will reduce his jail time from 90 days to 30.

In 2007, Smith ran a stop sign and collided with another car outside Trenton, New Jersey, killing his friend after going 67 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone.

Losing his friend is punishment enough … unless you have 28 points on your driving record and have racked up two speeding tickets since the accident in 2007.

Clearly, J.R. wasn’t getting the message.

He will get props if he finds a way to Twitter from jail.

Michael Jackson's Will Lists Diana Ross as Alternate Guardian of His Kids

Michael Jackson's 7-year-old will was filed Wednesday in a Los Angeles court, giving his entire estate to a family trust and cutting out his former wife Debbie Rowe.

The will, dated July 7, 2002, estimated his estate at that time at more than $500 million.

It names his mother, Katherine Jackson, as a beneficiary of the trust and the guardian of Jackson's children, who are named in the will.

It also names entertainer Diana Ross as a successor guardian for the children and their estates if something happens to Katherine Jackson.

Ross introduced the Jackson 5 on the Ed Sullivan Show in the late 1960s and was instrumental in launching their career. She was a lifelong friend of Michael Jackson.

Meanwhile, a person familiar with the situation said no public Jackson memorial was planned for Neverland.

Santa Barbara officials had discussed the possibility a memorial or public viewing could occur Thursday.

But the person, who is not authorized to speak for the family and requested anonymity, said nothing was planned for Neverland at least through Friday. The source said it appears more likely a funeral and burial will take place in Los Angeles. The family has the final say.

The person says billionaire Thomas Barrack, who owns Neverland in a joint venture with Jackson, sought an exemption to bury the singer at the ranch. But the person says it's a complicated process and it couldn't be done for a burial this week.

The will gives the entire estate to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. Details of the trust will not be made public.

The documents said Jackson's estate consisted almost entirely of "non-cash, non-liquid assets, including primarily an interest in a catalog of music royalty rights which is currently being administered by Sony ATV, and the interests of various entities."

One of Jackson's most lucrative assets is his stake in the massive Sony-ATV Music Publishing Catalog, which includes music by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers, and is estimated to be worth as much as $2 billion.

Jackson's longtime lawyer John Branca and John McClain, a music executive and a family friend, are named in the will as co-executors.

In a statement, Branca and McClain said: "The most important element of Michael's will is his unwavering desire that his mother, Katherine, become the legal guardian for his three children. As we work to carry out Michael's instructions to safeguard both the future of his children as well as the remarkable legacy he left us as an artist we ask that all matters involving his estate be handled with the dignity and the respect that Michael and his family deserve."

The five-page will is signed by Jackson, and each paragraph includes Jackson's scrawling initials.

Jackson, who died Thursday at age 50, left behind three children: son Michael Joseph Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and son Prince Michael II, 7. Rowe was the mother of the two oldest children; the youngest was born to a surrogate mother, who has never been identified.

Katherine Jackson was granted temporary guardianship Monday of Jackson's three children. A judge held off on requests to control the children's estates, and gave her limited control over her son's property.

Rowe, who was married to Jackson in 1996 and filed for divorce three years later, surrendered her parental rights. An appeals court later found that was done in error, and Rowe and Jackson entered an out-of-court settlement in 2006.

Neither Rowe nor her attorneys have indicated whether she intends to seek custody of the two oldest children.

Funeral plans have not yet been announced.

On Tuesday, heavy construction equipment and workers passed through the gates of Neverland Ranch, fueling speculation that it could soon be hosting Jackson's funeral or even a permanent memorial.

Groups of gardeners and florists bearing huge wreaths were also spotted on the 2,500-acre Santa Barbara County property about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

Members of Jackson's family met Tuesday with officials from the Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol about funeral services. But "details are still pending," according to Fran Clader, a spokeswoman for the patrol. The patrol would need to be consulted if the body was moved from Los Angeles to Neverland.

Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair shot and killed

Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron confirmed that police were called to a residence and found McNair and a woman shot to death inside. Aaron said authorities don't yet know the circumstances of the shooting.

"I don't have any answers for you now as to what's happened, who's responsible," he said.
Aaron said police have tentatively identified the woman but did not release her name.

McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL and led the Titans within a yard of forcing overtime in the 2000 Super Bowl. The former third overall draft pick also played for the Baltimore Ravens before retiring after the 2007 season.

"He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans," Titans owner Bud Adams said in a statement. "He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl."

Rihanna Being Investigated For Illegal Tattooing

When Rihanna tatooed a few of the tattoo artists at East Side Ink in New York on Wednesday night, she may not have realized what she was doing was illegal.

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene confirmed to MTV News on Thursday (July 2) that someone has been sent to the tattoo parlor to investigate the incident. In a statement, the department said, "Only licensed tattoo artists can administer tattoos in the city according to the City's Health Code. We are sending someone to follow up on this."

TMZ reported that if the department decides to press charges against the pop star for tattooing someone without a license, she could face three misdemeanors, with penalties as much as $300 for the first offense, $500 for the second and $1,000 for the third offense. Additionally, sources told the Web site that in addition to Rihanna, East Side Ink could be facing fines as well if an investigation is opened.

Earlier on Thursday, MTV News spoke to East Side Ink owner Yadira, who said that Rihanna hadn't visited East Side with the intention of inking her long-time tattoo artist, BangBang, as well as two other artists at the parlor. Rihanna was there with a few friends and a bodyguard for "a few hours, just hanging out and joking," she said, and BangBang decided that he wanted the pop star to give him a tattoo. Yadira added, "We had a blast. It was so funny and cute."

R. Kelly reps deny new sex scandal

By Roman Wolfe

Representatives for R&B singer R. Kelly have responded to recent media reports claiming the singer was involved in another scandal, this time allegedly with a 17-year-old girl.

Reports had stated that the singers home in Olympia Fields, Illinois had been raided the day before Kelly’s first ever tour of Africa.

Police were allegedly seeking a girl who was 16-years-old at the time, who was rumored to be staying with Kelly.

Internet reports stated that anonymous sources claimed police were “gathering evidence that included signed affidavits from several witnesses within R. Kelly’s circle.”

Police Chief Jeff Chudwin confirmed that they investigated Kelly, but “found there to be no crime and the matters have been closed.”

Representatives for Kelly also shot down the report, labeling it “wildly exaggerated and inaccurate.”

"No police ever showed up at Kelly's house with a search warrant nor was his house ever searched," a rep for Kelly said in a statement. "It is also not true ... that any such girl ever stayed overnight in Kelly's house or that she had been there but left shortly before some mythical police search."

In June of 2008, Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges, after he was accused of videotaping himself engaged in sexual acts with a minor, including allegedly urinating on a 14-year-old, between 1998 and 2000.

BET denounces young money's performance

By Houston Williams
BET has expressed remorse over a performance by Lil Wayne, Drake and Young Money Records that involved underage girls during songs "Best I Ever Had" and "Every Girl."

The songs, which have overt sexual references, were performed during the Sunday BET Awards '09 show as a bevy of young girls danced on stage. The group of girls consisted of Lil Wayne’s daughters and her friends.

In an exclusive statement, BET has responded to the criticism and the public outcry over the segment.

“BET Networks deeply regrets the performance by Young Money at the BET AWARDS ’09 (featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, Gudda Gudda and Mack Maine),” a BET representative told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “Elements of the performance were unplanned and should not have happened.”

In the aftermath of the show, many have expressed outrage over the outing by Young Money, which was set amid a show dedicated to the late Michael Jackson.

Activist and filmmaker Byron Hurt lambasted the network earlier in the week in an open letter to Debra Lee, the President and Chief Executive Officer of BET Holdings, Inc.

“In a culture where one out of four girls and women are either raped or sexually assaulted - and where manipulative men routinely traffic vulnerable women into the sex industry - it is not okay that BET allowed this to happen,” Hurt said. “BET owes its entire audience - particularly girls and women around the world - an apology for its failure to intervene.”

A representative said generally the company has found such opinions useful.

“We value and appreciate the feedback from our viewers and have edited Young Money’s performance for all BET Awards ’09 encore presentations.”

Drake has apologized and taken responsibility for the performance, admitting it was in poor taste.

"That...was a terrible idea that I'll never do to myself again. But I was being pressed from different areas to perform, and I think what really happened at the BET Awards is with the passing of Mike, the climate really changed, as far as the award show goes,” he told Complex. “I don't think it called for us to perform "Every Girl" and "Always Strapped," and I think it was an award show filled with tributes and music and these genuine heartfelt speeches. And to sort of climax out of a very tongue-n-cheek point, and then people misconstruing Wayne's daughters and her friends coming out on stage -- it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn't planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is. I believe in Wayne and myself and it's nothing we can't bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn't intended to offend anybody."

An edited version of the show will re-air on Monday July 6. The BET Awards saw a 61-percent increase in viewers this year fueled by the sudden death of Michael Jackson. Ten percent of all turned on television sets watched the show Sunday, a remarkably high number.

It looks like Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy isn't very fond of the media lately and this report isn't going to help much.

The young hitmaker has exploded into a race ridden tirade on his official twitter account--blaming "crackers" for how he is continuously portrayed in the media.

"My music dream was THE SHIT 2 years ago before I was signed. It was everything I could ever imagine." Soulja Boy posted.

Then I get signed. this is where my dream slowly died.. these crackaz wanna critcize a nigga. take REAL SHIT and turn it to trash.

Water down my music and my appearance and make me look like something i'm not. THESE CRACKERS DONT KNOW WHO THE FUCK I REALLY AM!!!

I go to the studio make new music for my fans to enjoy and party to. They take my shit hate on me. Make me look ignorant in the media"

Soulja Boy also says his music dream died out two years ago, after hitting the top of the charts with Crank Dat.

"It's all bullshit. Like WHY do I have to put up with this? because it's my dream? that shit died when crank that went #1

Just KNOW that i'm only 18 man... And it's only so much I can do. It's only so much I can take. If your really fans and love and support me"

will.i.am has revealed that he has no plans to "leak" the new material he recorded with Michael Jackson.
The Black Eyed Peas singer insisted that he is not interested in cashing in on the demand for Jackson's music since he passed away last week.

"I don't know what I'm going to do with the songs but I won't leak them or give them to another artist," he told the Daily Star.

The rapper, who previously remixed the late King Of Pop's 1982 single 'The Girl Is Mine', recently claimed that he had completed a dance album with him.

Jackson's single 'Man In The Mirror' is on course to top the charts on Sunday, while a number of his albums are also expected to dominate the Top 10.

Usher Demands Paternity test fro youngest son

USHER is reportedly demanding a paternity test to confirm he is the father of his youngest son with estranged wife TAMEKA FOSTER - because the former couple's sex life was virtually non-existent when the tot was conceived. The R&B superstar filed for divorce last month (12Jun09), revealing he had been living apart from the stylist since July 2008 and stating that there was "no reasonable hope of reconciliation".
According to the National Enquirer, Usher was stunned to learn Foster was pregnant last year - because the passion in their marriage had fizzled out months before little Naviyd Ely Raymond was born on 10 December (08).
A source tells the tabloid, "The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did this happen?’ - because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited.
"People have been telling him that around the time the little boy was conceived, Tameka got together with another man."
But Foster is adamant the boy is the Yeah! hitmaker's, and claims the tot was conceived during a rare night of intimacy.
The insider adds, "She says that although they weren’t spending much time together, they did get together for one night of passion. And that’s when she got pregnant."
In new court documents filed in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday (29Jun09), Foster insists the divorce came as a shock to her because they were "intimately together" just days before he began proceedings for a legal separation.
Her attorney continued, "(Foster) had every reason to believe her marriage was intact."
Foster is seeking child support for the former couple's two children Usher Raymond V, 19 months, and Naviyd, almost seven months, in addition to legal costs.
Usher is seeking joint custody of his kids.
