D.O.V : Death of Vibe magazine!!!
I've reported numerous times in the past that Vibe Magazine was on it's way out ( PROOF). It's unfortunate that a historical magazine like this was being run into the ground for the past 2 years by those who were in charge. For some of us in this music industry who are in a position to make big decisions, let this be a lesson learned. With the current climate of the music industry and the economic crisis we're facing, now is not the time for the leaders in this business field to use their personal judgements, biases, relationships and what you think is cool to affect your readership. For example just look at their list of the top 50 blog sites (PROOF) .This is why you have a staff...maybe next time you will listen to them...

Vibe magazine, the urban-music magazine founded in 1993 by Quincy Jones, is the latest victim of the media recession. A source with knowledge of the situation tells DailyFinance that the staff has learned the magazine is ceasing publication, and assistants in the offices of editor in chief Danyel Smith and publisher Edgar Hernandez confirmed the news. No further information was immediately available. Messages left for Smith, Hernandez and Vibe Media CEO Steve Aaron were not immediately returned.
Vibe enjoyed significant success in the late '90s and early part of this decade as hip hop and R&B became the nation's predominant forms of pop music. But in recent years the title has fallen on hard times under its new owner, the Wicks Group, which bought it in 2006. In February, it reduced its circulation and publishing frequency, cut salaries and moved employees to a four-day workweek to save money.
Michael was not the biological father of his kids
According to bossip.com, Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his children. And Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the two kids she bore for Michael. All three children were conceived in vitro — outside the womb.
Multiple sources deeply connected to the births tell us Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie’s eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.
In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), we’re told the surrogate was never told of the identity of the “receiving parent” — Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson’s lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael. We do not know if Jackson chose the sperm or egg donors or if he even knew who they were.
Although Rowe is not the biological mother, it’s not a slam dunk that she would lose a custody battle. This type of case has never been litigated in California courts.
Since Rowe was married to Jackson when Michael Jr. and Paris were born, there’s a presumption that she’s the biological parent. That presumption can be rebutted by other evidence.
We know there are documents outlining the whole arrangement for the birth of all three kids. Nonetheless, it’s still an open issue with the courts.

From BallerStatus.com -- He turned himself in on a second-degree murder charge early last week, and then a few days later, rapper Tru Life pleaded not guilty to the charge.
According to a report from the Miami Herald, the rapper (real name: Robert Rosado) was also charged with gang assault and is currently being held without bail.
He's innocent, says his lawyer.
Here's how the story goes: gang members looking to avenge the shooting of a drug dealer stabbed two men -- one fatally -- in a Manhattan apartment building lobby earlier this month on June 15.
At the time, it was believed that the man was shot as part of an ongoing fight between Black (one of the men stabbed) and the brother of Tru Life.
As of last week, police believe the rapper knifed Christopher Guerrero, who later died, and agreed to turn himself into police Tuesday night (June 23).
Tru Life's brother Marcus Rosado surrendered Wednesday night (June 24) and was awaiting arraignment.
Police say the brothers both pulled knives on Guerrero and and Black on June 15. Guerrero suffered stab wounds to the stomach and died. The other man was critically injured.
The altercation took place in the lobby of a Manhattan building, as part of a dispute that started earlier at Club Pasha in Manhattan.

Chilli Pepper
Don't call it a comeback.
VH1 is giving two '90s female hip-hop icons, Sandra (Pepa) Denton of Salt-N-Pepa and Rozonda (Chilli) Thomas of TLC, their own reality shows.
The as-yet-untitled Pepa project will follow Denton as she looks for love after four years of self-imposed celibacy. The rapper and three of her closest female friends, who are also single, will meet for brunch every week to discuss the highs and lows of the past seven days.
Chilli's series, which is also untitled so far, will show its star, a single mother, enlisting Brooklyn relationship expert Tionna Smalls to help her find a long-term relationship.
Both series are set to premiere next year.
"These are women that our audiences know. They're attached to them, they know their music, and they're both women you can root for," Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming and production for VH1, told the Daily News yesterday. "But the shows are different. The Pepa show, I think, gives us a window into the real conversations women have about their lives and relationships. With Chilli, it's breaking down why this gorgeous, successful woman is still single and pushing her to try new things and push her boundaries."

Seven fans have committed suicide because of the death of Michael Jackson. Seriously people we are all hurt and saddened to the point of speechlessness…however DON’T SELF DESTRUCT! Michael Jackson believed in world peace, and wouldn’t ever take his own life….Get it together people, lets not turn Michaels death into a circus ..>Damn!! Jesse Jackson talks about coping with the death of MJ, in hopes that noone else will succumb and imitate what the other seven have done.
As many as 50 callers seeking help from suicide prevention hotline Lifeline Australia have told counsellors that Jackson’’s death on June 26 has left them distressed.
According Sky News, Gary Taylor from London, who owns Jacko’s online fan club has said that he was aware of about 12 suicides following the performer’’s death

Infomercial King Billy Mays found dead in home
Spirited TV pitchman Billy Mays was found dead at his Tampa home earlier this morning, police said.
Mays, 50, lent his trademark booming voice to infomercials for products like OxiClean and Orange Glo.
His wife, Deborah Mays, found him at their home Sunday morning, the Associated Press reported. Tampa police said there were no signs of a break in or foul play.
An autopsy will be done by Monday afternoon to determine the cause of death.
"Although Billy lived a public life, we don't anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days," Deborah Mays said in a statement. "Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times."
Mays, who got his start peddling products to passersby on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, has plugged Mighty Putty, the Ding King dent repair kit, and, most recently, the website ESPN360.com
"With every product you see me on TV with, I've turned down 100, 150 more," Mays told the News earlier this month, while in New York for a look alike contest. "I've been on TV for 11 years, and all I have is my good name."
"I compare myself to a big-league slugger, a quarterback, the doctor who delivers the baby," he said. "I'm not an inventor, but I'll take your product to the next level."

Michael Jackson's accuser lied $ autopsy results
According to Bossip.com, the kid that said Michael Jackson touched him just came out and said he lied. He is saying his pops wanted loot being behind the reason of the false accusation. Also, reports from the initial autopsy are not good:
An autopsy on Michael Jackson revealed that the King of Pop’s emaciated body was riddled with needle marks and scars, and his head was virtually bald, it was reported today.
Jackson’s body had wasted away to a mere 112 pounds, and his stomach was completely empty except for partially dissolved pills, according to the London Sun.
Those handlers/killers/thieves of his need to be brought in!
After the sudden death of Michael Jackson Evan Chandler tells the truth. Evan- ”Now for the first time i can’t bare to lie anymore. Michael Jackson didn’t do anything to me, all of this was my father lies to escape from being poor.”

Under the influence of a controversial father (Jordan Chandler) told his son to tell that Jackson had touched his penis.Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex, as well as giving a detailed description of what he alleged were the singer’s genitals.

The reason we have not reported on this Jordan story is because of the credibility. We want you to know that him retracting his accusations may not be necessarily true, but we felt it was our duty to give you the hottest gossip and rumor.
